Yesterday daddy took Brooke swimming with grandma and cousin Calvin. She had a great time!

Having a baby sleep in her crib instead of my arms these days has given me a little more free time, so hopefully I will be posting more often. Getting her in her crib without waking her is frustraiting, but worth it in the long run. Okay.. maybe she still doesn't always sleep in her crib.

Molly had a rough time starting around week 3. She screamed during the day and never slept for 10 days. Thank god she slept pretty well at night! The doctor diagnosed her as having reflux and it's like a whole new baby! Thank god! Mommy was going to lose it! And best of all.. she actually sleeps during the day instead of just screaming! Good thing she's cute!

Poor Matt had to deal with a nesting mama when we moved into the new house. I was seriously freaking out that Molly would come before her bedroom was ready! Thanks to Jen and Wyndy we were able to get it pained and set up! It turned out great!

Matt pointed out to me that I haven't blogged since October..

We've been busy! Our house sold and we bought a new house. We moved December 19th (6 days before Christmas and I was over 8 months pregnant).

Molly joined us January 19th at 6:01pm (Brooke was born at 6:04pm). She's perfect! She was 8lbs and 20 3/4 inches long.

Brooke is doing pretty well. She loves Molly and wants to help with her all the time. She does however want more of Mommy's time too!

I already know that ladybug's don't buzz.. but Brooke keeps telling me "I'm a ladybug! I'm buzzing around!"

We carved pumpkins last night. Matt did the awesome Bert one! I did Elmo, and Brooke helped with the middle pumpkin. They turned out great!

SNOW DAY!!!

We have had an amazing amount of snow the last few days! It's alot of snow for anytime in the winter, let alone October! Hopefully it all melts before Halloweeen. It is suppose to be int he 40's and 50's the next few days.

Brooke loved playing in the snow though! I had to bribe her inside with hot cocoa, and that was after a 1/2 hour playing in the snow already!

Playing in the Fall Leaves!

We had so many leaves in our front yard this week! The snow made all the leaves drop from the tree before they even turned any pretty colors! How sad! Brooke loved it though! Her and Matt played in the leaves forever!

Rock Creek Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday we made it to the Rock Creek Pumpkin Patch. Unfortunately because of the crazy cold weather last week many of the pumpkins froze and many were rotten now. But they had lots of free activities including animals and slides!

On Saturday we ventured to the pumpkin patch nearby with Jen and Wyndy. The poor pumpkins didn't survive the freeze very well so many of them were no good. We did however enjoy the animals and other free activities!

Butterflies!

Today we went to the Butterfly Pavilion with Jen and Wyndy. We have a family pass, so I think we might start going more now that the weather is starting to get colder and the park looks less appealing!

Brooke and Wyndy held a tarantula! Well.. Wyndy did because the second the tarantula started to walk on Brooke's hand she jerked her hand away.

Thomas The Tank!

Yesterday we went with Nana and Papa to the Colorado Railways Museum in Golden. It was a special event where Thomas the Tank Engine was there and we got to ride a train he was pulling. Brooke was very excited.

I think Brooke's favorite part of the whole day is playing with the train table. If we had more room we might need to get her one of these!

The Taste of Colorado

Today was Brooke's official birthday and after a relaxing morning at home we headed to the Taste of Colorado after nap time.

Brooke was immediately excited by all there was to see!

She said she wanted to ride the whales.. but then she wasn't so sure when she was waiting for them to start up!

But she loved them!

Wow! Brooke is 2 already! We had a huge Sesame Street/Abby Cadabby Birthday Party with lots of friends.

Today Papa stopped by with his school bus. Brooke was super ecstatic to play around. As you can see from the pictures she crawled all around on the bus and even enjoyed pretending to drive!

She even got to go for a little ride around the block in Papa's school bus.

BABY! Oh.. you already knew that? It's another girl for the Sturtz Family! I'll post pictures of the ultrasound soon. This little girl was completely different then Brooke. She is sitting frog style in my tummy with her feet together and her knees far apart. She showed all!

Brooke's New Bike Helmet

I didn't feel very confident in Brooke's other bike helmet that I bought for $5 at a consignment sale so we got her a new one last week. She had a choice between yellow and red and she chose the yellow one. She didn't take the helmet off for the first 2 days except to sleep. She looks good in it though, don't you think?
