Brooke has discovered that I hold the phone to my ear and talk. I've never held the phone to her ear, but she was clever enough to figure it out..

Okay.. I think I only work so that I can spoil Brooke. Look at these great butterfly wings I found for Brooke! Isn't she adorable?

Great Grandpa and Grandma Sturtz

This last weekend we flew to Minnesota so that Brooke could meet her Great Grandparents and the rest of the Sturtz clan. Brooke traveled great and loved all of her relatives. We had a great time and I feel I got to know everyone much better. Here are a few pictures of Brooke with her Great Grandpa and Great Grandma.




Another cool thing was that we were able to have 4 generations of Sturtzs in one place.

Uncle Bob, Aunt Lisa, and Streamlet

Brooke really enjoyed her Great Uncle Bob and Great Aunt Lisa, emphasis on the Great as Great Uncle Bob reminded us several times. Great Uncle Bob liked to call her streamlet instead of Brooke, but I think she forgave him. They really enjoyed her too! They are going to be grandparents later this year and they will be great! She had fun with her second cousin Evan too.

Brooke is a musical prodigy!

Dishwasher?!?

Brooke is so curious about everything these days, even the dishwasher! This happens about every time I try to do the dishes when she is awake.

We love excitement

Friday morning I woke up to a bad stomach/back ache. Matt took me to urgent care to see what was going on. My white blood cell count was double, and the CAT scan showed that my appendix was twice the size it should be. They decided it was my appendix and I had my appendix removed on Friday evening. I'm home recovering now and should be feeling my normal self in a few days!
