Brooke-tini helps clean the coffee table!

Brooke is now pulling herself up on everything. It's a lot more work to make sure anything she can reach is safe, but I actually do love when she reaches a new milestone. Yesterday when I went to get her from both her naps, she was standing up in her crib! Well here is a video of her pulling herself up on the coffee table and help to clear everything off of it.

Brooke's Playmate

Brooke and I had been going to a infant play group on Tuesdays, until Brooke started to nap during the time of the group! We met another mom and baby close to Brooke's age that we have become friends with. We usually hang out with Jocelyn (the mom) and Sawyer (the baby) every week. Sawyer is about 6 weeks older than Brooke and has been very mobile for a while now. Brooke has him beat on talking though!

Here is a few pictures of them playing on our front lawn this afternoon.

Very Blue Eyes

This picture is older.. it's actually from when I got my new camera a few months ago. I didn't realize that the camera had memory and so I found a few pictures that had been taken on the camera when it had no memory card in it.

Brooke discovers the stairs

Well I mentioned Brooke was trying to crawl the stairs.. not really far.. but I got a video of that too!

Crawling! On all Fours!

Brooke is finally crawling the correct way! On her hands and knees! If we thought she was mobile before.. now she really is! She is everywhere and puts all of her finds in her mouth! Last week I caught her with a penny, a small clear plastic piece and a piece of Juno's bone all in her mouth! We have to go get the stuff to child proof our house today!

Just after I took this video she was trying to climb the stairs too!

Clapping

Brooke is starting to learn new tricks! She can clap now. It's not perfect, but she's on the right track. And when you are that cute.. you can do anything and it's okay. She also will kiss your baby doll after I do! Here is a video of Brooke clapping!

New Bike and Bike Trailer!

So.. Matt and I both had hand me down mountain bikes from his parents that we were given several years ago. I HATED the one I had. My butt would hurt in 30 seconds from riding it. We took them up to get them tuned up and in better working condition and it was going to cost $100 to fix up the bike that I didn't even like riding. So.. I got myself a new bike! I absolutely love it! It's beautiful and I have ridden it for over an hour without tush pain!

Matt and I rode around in Denver yesterday (see post below). But.. we also go a bike trailer off of craigslist last week for Brooke. Brooke and I have tooled around the neighborhood and find that fun. Today Matt, Brooke and I ventured out further and rode to lunch at Chipolte and then to Kohls to get Matt some new shorts and jeans. It was so much fun!

Here are some pictures of my new bike and of Brooke happy as can be in her new bike trailer!

Rockies Game

Matt and I had a chance to go out last night without Brooke. We went to a Rockies game with his dad. The Rockies played the Minnosota Twins. The Rockies won after a boring first 5 innings, then it got exciting.

We headed down there early and took our bikes. We parked a ways away from the ball park and rode our bikes around for an hour or so, stopped and got some dinner at Falling Rock Tap House, and then rode to the game. It was free parking and I had so much fun riding around!

Before we left Brooke had to try on Grandpa's Rockie's hat. What a cutie!

Video of playing in the grass

Here is a video of Brooke playing in the grass earlier. She is so darn cute.. Still not completely crawling, but there are lots of time where she does "the worm". She gets up on her hands and knees and flops forward, and does that same move over and over and over..

Enjoy the video!

Playing in the Grass

It was a beautiful day out today. We spent some time out on the front lawn. Brooke loves being outside and playing in the grass. Here is a couple of pictures of her enjoying the day.

Happy Mother's Day

Brooke and I ran in a Mother's Day 9K this morning. I had never run with a jogger and was slower than I would have liked, but we made it! Brooke was a trooper. She chatted most of the way and only got fussy around the last 2K.

Here is a picture of Brooke before the race.

Here is a picture of Brooke as we cross the finish line.

Here is a picture of our backsides as we cross. See our time? 1 hour 26 minutes.
