We love excitement
Friday morning I woke up to a bad stomach/back ache. Matt took me to urgent care to see what was going on. My white blood cell count was double, and the CAT scan showed that my appendix was twice the size it should be. They decided it was my appendix and I had my appendix removed on Friday evening. I'm home recovering now and should be feeling my normal self in a few days!

This is so odd because I got hit with really bad stomach pains on Monday, went to the dr. who checked my white blood count and it was ok. Since the pain persisted all week as a dull ache, I was sent for a CAT scan on Friday afternoon to be sure it wasn't my appendix. Our car was packed up to go visit my family after we got the results as long as I didn't have to stay, and thankfully for me I got the all clear! I still don't know what was causing my pain, though. My dr. should have the rest of the CAT scan results tomorrow.

Cripes..I'm glad you are ok. It was good to talk to you about it today. Much better hearing it from the person than from a bog sometimes, you know?
