Last Game of the Season!

Well.. As I mentioned before.. Brooke's Aunt Veronica and Uncle James got her a Lions Cheerleading outfit. Matt and I don't watch sports, but her Uncle Cliff told me she had to wear it today because today is the last game of the season. Isn't she adorable?

Detroit Sports Teams

My family thought it would be awesome to get Brooke some sports team outfits for Christmas. In fact they got her outfits from ALL the Detroit Teams much to her daddy's unhappiness.

Here is a picture of Brooke in the Redwings outfit her Uncle Nick got her. I do have to admit that the warm up pants that go with it are way too cute!



Here she is in the Piston's outfit her Uncle Cliff got her. The Adidas booties are adorable!



Her Aunt Veronica and Uncle James also got her a Detroit Tigers onsie, and a little Detroit Lions cheerleading outfit that is too cute! I will take pictures of her in those soon and post those too!

Baby's First Christmas

This was obviously Brooke's first Christmas. And of course that gives us the opportunity to dress her up as we please! Isn't she cute though?



Brooke got a fun dog stocking from Grandmary and Grandpa Moose. It sang lots of Christmas songs and it's ears moved back and forth. She loved it!



Brooke of course didn't understand the concept of presents, but loved the wrapping paper and paper tissue!

Christmas Eve

My family has a tradition of having friends and family over on Christmas Eve. Grandmary makes hors d'oeuvres. We also open pajamas every year that we all wear to bed.. Here is a picture of the whole family in thier new pajama pants!



This year things got a little out of hand and everyone was doing shots by the end of the night! Everyone except Brooke of course!

Visits from Everyone!

Everyone had to visit while we were there to meet Brooke! Unfortunately we didn't get a picture of everyone with her! Brooke got to meet Monica and Kevin, and then we were able to go out to dinner with them while Grandmary watched Brooke.

We also were able to have lunch with Tim and Alanna and meet their adorable puppy Milo.

Great Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Roger stopped by too. They also had to meet their grandneice and bring her a babydoll.

Larry and Ryan also stopped by to say hello and brought her a fun rattle.

We did however get a picture of Brooke opening presents from her Cousin JoAnne with her second cousins Ethan and Gwyneth.

Michigan Visit

We spent Christmas in Michigan. Brooke was a champ and did great on the plane. She was a little fussy (by fussy I mean she just complained some, but didn't cry) on the way there.. but didn't even fuss on the way back!

We had a great time in Michigan, and Brooke was able to meet her Uncle Nick, her Aunt Veronica and Uncle James for the first time. Everyone had to hold her LOTS! And she was a fantastic in participating in pass the baby. Here are some pictures of everyone holding her. Somehow I didn't get a picture of her Aunt Veronica or Uncle James holding her, but they did plenty too!

This is her Grandmary holding her. Grandmary probably did the most holding and spoiling of Brooke.



Here is a picture of Grandpa Moose showing her around his moose room. She was very pleased to look at all of his interesting moose items and hear the stories about them.



Here is Uncle Cliff holding her too. He often fought Grandmary to hold her, and even almost cried when we left!



Uncle Nick of course had to do some holding too. Can you believe she wasn't afraid of that beard?



Brooke also got to play with some toys that were loaned by the next door neighbor. They loaned a baby papasan exactly like the one Brooke has at home, but she preferred the novelty of using something she didn't have at home. She loved this rainforest chair!

3 Months Old!

Brooke is now 3 months old! We went and got some professional pictures done to commemorate the occassion! She did pretty good during the session, but then immediately was fussy and upset after the shoot!

Playing

Brooke is able to play more and more every day.. She's growing up so fast! ;)

Blue Eyes

Brooke's eyes are extremely pretty and blue.. Do you think they will stay?

Rainforest Jumperoo

Okay.. So I get a little excited about toys for Brooke, before she is really ready to use them. Anyone remember the Bumbo? She loves it now, but couldn't use it for like 6 weeks after I bought it. This jumperoo is much the same. She loves it, but I have to change some stuff to make it work for a young Brookelet! As you can see, I had to put a blanket around her so if she got tired holding her head up she won't bash it into anything, and then I have to put that tin under her feet so she can push up off something, because her feet don't quite touch the ground yet, even on the lowest setting!

Santa Claus

Brooke met Santa Claus for the first time yesterday. I'm not sure what she asked Santa for x-mas. Grandmary was hoping it was her.. Brooke didn't smile,but part of that might have been then I continually had to run up there and take her hands out of her mouth. (yes, she is starting to suck her fingers and thumb all the time!) She was content and cute in her pretty Christmas dress though!
